There are many types of headaches, such as migraines, cluster, sinus, tension, and cervicogenic to name a few. Among these different types of headaches there are also many triggers such as food, allergies, stress, activity, weather, light, sound and sleep. The key to treating headaches is to as accurately as possible diagnose the cause of the headaches and determine what triggers the headache for each patient, as triggers vary from person to person. Treatment may include things such as avoiding triggers, chiropractic adjustments, massage, acupuncture, or a referral for specific testing.
